My only involvement with Rovers was in the seventies when my sister had a Rover which carried you around with an air of maximum safety. I also had the pleasure of driving a new Rover 3500 in the seventies which belonged to ‘the boss’. This was an experience in itself as this was the first time I had ever driven an automatic.
